Florida Juvenile Justice Foundation E-mail Advisory
Because the Florida Juvenile Justice Foundation is a direct-support organization of the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice as established in Florida Statute, the Florida Juvenile Justice Foundation complies with Florida's Public Records and Sunshine Laws. In addition to written correspondence, e-mail addresses and messages are maintained by this office as public records. If you do not want your e-mail address or your electronic message to be released in response to a public-records request, please do not send electronic or written mail to the Foundation office. Instead, contact the office or individual by telephone.
If you choose to share personal information with the Florida Juvenile Justice Foundation by subscribing to an e-newsletter, sending an e-mail message, or filling out an electronic form with personal information, that information will be used only for the purposes necessary to conduct business with you. However, under Florida law, e-mail addresses are public records.
In addition, any information you provide may be saved for a designated period of time to comply with Florida's archiving policies and may be subject to disclosure as required by State or Federal law. Please note that Florida's public records law requires that all information received may be made available to anyone upon request, unless the information is subject to a specific statutory exemption.
